Woman Due In Court Today After Sydney Break-In

A 31 year-old Sydney woman is due in court today after police got called to an alarm at the Medical Arts Building on King’s Road in Sydney at around 7:30 on Saturday morning.

Police say officers found the culprit had gotten into the Lawton’s Drug Store through a smashed window.

An investigation led police to arrest Lisa Marie Jones shortly after 3:30 that afternoon.

Jones faces counts of Break, Enter, and Theft.

She was held in custody at the Cape Breton Correctional Facility over the weekend to await today’s court appearance.
