by Regional Police say one of two people hit by a vehicle in Glace Bay on the weekend has died.
Police say they got called to the intersection of Third Street and West Avenue at around 8:00 on Saturday night.
A man and woman, both in their 60’s, were injured and both were taken to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Police say officers spoke with witnesses and the driver of the Ford F-150 truck that was seized and towed for inspection.
The woman was airlifted to hospital in Halifax with serious injuries where police say she was pronounced dead, yesterday.
They say their investigation continues.
