Woman Dead After Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision In Membertou

Regional Police say a 60-year-old woman is dead after a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Membertou, yesterday afternoon.

Police say they got called to Terry Way between the Regional Hospital and Churchill Drive at around 2:45.

They say paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Police say the woman’s identity has not be released, pending notification of next of kin. 

They say the investigation into the cause of the collision, continues.
