Woman Dead After Crash In Howie Centre

A 90-year-old Big Pond woman is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Howie Centre early Friday morning.

RCMP say a 63-year-old woman from Northside East Bay who was driving a Toyota Yaris was taken to the Regional Hospital with serious injuries after the crash just before 10:30 Friday morning.

RCMP go on to say the woman in the passenger seat and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Nobody was injured in the other two vehicles.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
