by A Sydney woman has been charged after a cab driver told police passengers robbed him and took his vehicle in Membertou on Sunday.
33 year-old Leanne Francis Margaret Steven is facing charges of Robbery with a Firearm and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
Police say they got a report of the robbery at the Hampton Inn just after 6:00 Sunday morning.
They say the cab was found at a gas station at about 10:00 that morning.
About an hour later, a woman was arrested for public intoxication and later charged with the robbery.
Police say the case remains under investigation.
