by An early-morning fire in a Whitney Pier apartment building has left six people temporarily homeless.
The Canadian Red Cross says the fire broke out at around five o’clock yesterday morning, and caused mostly smoke damage to the three units.
They say volunteers have arranged emergency lodging and food for three people from the most heavily affected apartment, while the people from the other units made their own arrangements.
There were no reported injuries from the fire.
