by A Supreme Court judge is scheduled to deliver a verdict today in the case of a Florence man charged with second-degree murder.
41 year-old John Patrick (Jackie) White is charged in the beating death of 60-year-old Robert Bradley in September of 2020.
The Crown called 17 witnesses during the judge alone trial along with two rebuttal witnesses.
The defence called four witnesses.
40 year-old Stephen Bishop was also charged with second-degree murder in Bradley’s death.
He pleaded guilty to the included offence of manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
