Westmount Man Facing Drug Charges After Raid

A 33 year-old man made a court appearance today after police say they found 37,000 dollars worth of drugs in a raid on a home in Westmount last night.

Police say the raid on Fairhaven Drive turned up marijuana, shatter, hash, ecstasy, THC and edible cannabis.

Ryan Matthew David Chipman from Westmount is charged with five counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, as well as Possession of ecstasy.

He’s now on remand while he awaits a bail hearing on Tuesday.
