West Bay Road Man Dead After Crash In East Havre Boucher

RCMP say a 24-year-old West Bay man is dead after a head on collision on the Trans Canada in East Havre Boucher on Tuesday night.

The Mounties say a car travelling east toward Cape Breton and a transport truck travelling in the opposite direction collided.

The say the driver and only person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

They say the 30 year-old Ontario man who was driving the truck suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
