There’s going to be a welcome ceremony in Membertou First Nation this morning for the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.
The court is holding two days of hearings at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre, this week.
The sitting marks the first time the Court of Appeal has sat outside of Halifax.
The court is inviting the public to see its work first-hand.
It’s first appeal hearing in Membertou gets underway at 10:00 tomorrow morning for the case of the Board of Registration of Embalmers and Funeral Directors versus Joseph Curry.
The welcome ceremony is scheduled to start at 11:00.
