Weather Causing Travel Disruptions And Three School Cancellations

The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education says school buses are travelling on paved roads only today.

And classes are cancelled today at Baddeck Academy, Middle River School and Rankin School of the Narrows.

Meanwhile, the Englishtown ferry is out of service this morning because of weather conditions.

And, Marine Atlantic has postponed last night’s and this morning’s ferry crossings from North Sydney and Port aux Basques because of weather conditions.

There are gale and freezing spray warnings in effect for the Cabot Strait.
