WCB Releases 2021 Stats

The Workers’ Compensation Board says people in the province spent less time off the job because of workplace injuries last year compared to the year before.

The board released its annual statistics for 2021 today.

It says, there were increases in some measures last year including time-loss claims and registered claims.

It says those figures came as workplaces got back to regular operations after being closed down because of COVID-19 in 2020.

The board says, overall, the numbers show steady progress year-over-year.
