Water Shutdown Planned In River Ryan

A water shutdown has been planned for part of the New Waterford area this weekend.

The Water Utility says the shutdown is needed for maintenance work on the main water line on Union Highway in River Ryan.

The shut down will be on Saturday, starting around 8:00 in the morning with the hope of wrapping up by 3:00 in the afternoon.

The affected areas will be Union Highway and James, Maple, Columbus and Ryan streets, along with David, Clara and School streets, Ratchford Street, Queen Street Extension, and Leonard Street.
