Warrant Issued For Domoslai

A warrant has been issued for a Grand Mira North man released on $75,000 bail while awaiting appeal of his conviction.

55-year-old Roderick Joseph Domoslai was scheduled to appear plea today after being charged in October with breaching his conditions but the Nova Scotia Court says he didn’t show up.

He was sentenced in March to two years in federal jail and two years of probation after being found guilty of counselling to commit arson and counselling to commit perjury.

But he was released on at the end of March on conditions as he appealed the conviction.

During the trial, Domoslai denied hiring Crown witness Erin Maxwell to arrange for the killing of Dawn MacNeil.

He also testified he hates his ex-wife, but not enough to have her killed.
