A 25-year-old Wagmatcook man who was the subject of a province-wide warrant is in custody.
Police say Desmond Bernard was arrested without incident by Baddeck RCMP yesterday afternoon.
Bernard faces several charges, including two counts of assault, two counts of assaulting a police officer, eight counts of failing to comply with an officer, and single counts of uttering threats and possession of a dangerous weapon.
He’ll appear in Wagmatcook Provincial Court on Tuesday.
