Volunteers Sought for Water Sampling Program

The Regional Water Utility is looking for volunteers for lead and copper sampling in tap water.

The program is for customers of the Water Utility and not for those who get their water from a well.

The call for volunteers comes after the provincial Environment Department introduced more sampling requirements for lead and copper within customers’ homes last year.

Volunteers will be registered on a first come first serve basis until the goals of the water sampling program are met.

Customers can apply online at www.cbrm.ns.ca/water-utility.
