Volunteer Firefighters Due in Court

Two members of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department charged in a string of arsons are due back in court today to enter pleas.

 24 year-old James Clayton MacDonald from Bras d’Or faces 16 counts of arson.
And, 49 year-old Stephen Tremblett from North Sydney faces 12 counts.

Both men were arrested in connection to 16 fires that took place over the last several months.

The pair has been released on 11-thousand dollars bail each and a host of strict conditions.
