Vi’s Restaurant Closing

A Cape Breton landmark is closing after more than 50 years in business.

Vi’s Restaurant in Whycocomagh will serve its last home-cooked meals on April 15th.

The provincial Department of Transportation says it’s negotiating to buy the property.

It adds the restaurant will likely be torn down in order to allow for road improvements in the area.
