Victoria County Extends Non-Profit Grant

Victoria County is extending a grant for non-profits until next Monday.

It says the extension is to help the groups deal with extra costs they’re facing because of COVID-19.

Victoria County CAO Leanne MacEachen says they heard from several non-profits who needed help to make sure they were following proper safety guidelines.

So far more than $5200 has been provided to eight Victoria County community groups to provide required social distancing dividers and decals, hand sanitizer, masks, and handwash stations.
