Varieties of Eat Smart Salad Shakeups Recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there’s a national recall of three types of salad kits because of possible Listeria contamination.

Eat Smart Salad Shake Ups with a best before date of December 29th are affected.

The recall applies to the Tropical Lime variety in 152 gram packages and 156 gram packages of the Asian Sesame and Sweet Kale varieties.

People who have the salad kits should throw them out or bring them back to the store.

The current recall adds to one issued for the Sweet Kale variety earlier this month.

The federal agency widened the recall after an investigation.
