Two Women Charged After Weekend Stabbing Incident

Cape Breton Regional Police have charged two women after a stabbing incident over the weekend.

 

A 34- year- old Glace Bay woman is charged with Assault and Unlawfully being in a Dwelling.

She’s been released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.

 

22-year-old Danielle Paulette from Sydney faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and one Breach.

 

She’s being held in custody until a court appearance, today.

 

The women were charged after police were called to an apartment complex on Charlotte Street in Sydney at around 9:00 on Saturday night.

 

They add officers discovered that two women were involved in a physical altercation in which a knife was used.

 

They were both taken to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital to be treated.
