Two Rivers Tunnel Due To Make His Ground Hog Day Prediction, Today

Cape Breton’s resident ground hog will crawl out of hibernation to make his Ground Hog day prediction, later this morning.

Two Rivers Tunnel, at the Two Rivers Wildlife Park in Mira, is due to let us know if we can expect an early spring at 11:22.

The chances of him seeing his shadow and predicting an extended winter are slim with cloudy skies and flurries in the forecast.

Meanwhile, Park worker Kelly MacDonald says Two Rivers was the only ground hog whose prediction was right, last winter.
