Two New COVID Cases, Both In Eastern Zone

The province is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 today and both cases are in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.  

Health officials say one of the cases is a close contact of a previously reported case and the other is under investigation.

The province is also reporting two more recoveries today, keeping the total amount of confirmed active cases at 39.

Those include 15 active cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

Two people in the province are in hospital with the virus, including one person in intensive care.
