Two new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia today

Two new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Nova Scotia today, along with two more recoveries; the number of known active cases in the province stands at 29.

Both new cases are in the Central Zone; one is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada, and one is a close contact of a previously reported case.

Two people are still in hospital with the disease, one in intensive care.

One thousand six hundred and fifty-nine Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.

One thousand five hundred and sixty-five Nova Scotians have recovered from COVID-19.
