Two More COVID Cases In Eastern Zone

The province is reporting 8 new cases of COVID-19 today including two in the Eastern Zone.

Health officials say one of the Eastern Zone cases is connected to travel outside Atlantic Canada and the other is still being investigated.

Four of the new cases are in the Central Zone including a school-based case reported yesterday.

The two other cases are in the Western Zone including another school-based case reported yesterday.

There’s now a total of 90 confirmed active cases of the virus in Nova Scotia.

The province also announced today people who don’t have symptoms of COVID-19 can book tests starting tomorrow.   Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will be holding another COVID-19 briefing at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
