Two Men Charged After Shooting

Two men have been charged after a shooting incident on the Highway between Whycocomagh and Mabou late Friday night.

RCMP say one man is facing a charge of aggravated assault and the other is facing firearms and drug offences.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the leg at a home on Friday night but the injuries were not life-threatening and he has been released from hospital, RCMP say.

RCMP add the men knew each other and there is no risk to the public.
