Two Injured After Highway 125 Rollover

RCMP say a 79 year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after the Ford pickup he was driving left the 125 Sydney Bypass near Balls Creek, this morning.

Police say the truck then rolled over in the ditch.

A 78 year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Both are from North River in Victoria County and were taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney.

RCMP spokesperson Constable Tammy Lobb says police got the call at around 8:15 this morning and adds wet weather may have played a role in the crash.

Lobb says investigators will spend most of the morning at the scene.
