Two Charged After Vehicle-House Collision

Regional Police say two New Waterford women are facing charges after the vehicle they were driving hit a house on Plummer Avenue last night.

They say the crash happened at about 11:30.

The owner of the house was home at the time but police say no one was hurt.

Police say the two women in the car showed signs of impairment and were arrested at the scene.

The 27-year-old driver has been charged with Impaired Driving and Operating a Vehicle while over the legal limit.

The 21-year-old passenger is charged with Mischief and Assaulting a Peace Officer.

Both were released this morning.

They’re due in Sydney court on February 6th.
