Two Charged After Loch Lomond Home Invasion

Two men have been charged after a violent home invasion in Richmond County over the weekend.

Police say they got a report of the home invasion in Loch Lomond early Saturday morning.

The homeowner tells police two masked men kicked in a door and threatened to kill him while kicking and punching him.

The two men were arrested at a nearby home a short time later.

Police say 37 year-old Kyle Sparrow from New Waterford and 58 year-old Daniel James McMullin from Loch Lomond are facing charges of assault, break and enter and uttering threats.

McMullin is also facing two weapons charges after police say they found a gun that’s not believed to have been used in the assault.

Both men have been released and are due in Port Hawkesbury Court on June 28th.

Police say their investigation continues.
