Two Cape Bretoners Win East Coast Music Awards

Only two Cape Bretoners picked up honours at last night’s East Coast Music Awards show in Halifax.

Morgan Toney was named Indigenous Artist of the Year.

And Natalie McMaster picked up the Director’s Special Achievement Award that was announced earlier.

She also performed during last night’s show.

The industry awards will be handed out at a show that starts at 11:00 on Sunday morning.
