Two Arrested After Truck Strikes Building

Two people have been charged after a truck hit the Unifor Building on Townsend St. in Sydney last night.

Police say the truck and the building were damaged but there were no injuries.

The owner of the truck tells police it was taken without permission.

Police say they the woman who was driving the vehicle and a man who was a passenger were later found in two separate sections of George Street.

Bonnie Jean Hines and Andrew Scott Hennick are each facing a number of charges, including Taking a Motor Vehicle without Consent and Failing to Stop at the Scene of an Accident.

Both appeared in Sydney Court today and are now on remand until tomorrow.
