Two Arrested After New Waterford Break-in

Two men are due in Sydney Provincial Court today after a Break and Enter at the Bargain Shop on Plummer Avenue in New Waterford, overnight.

 

Cape Breton Regional Police say they responded to an alarm call at approximately 2:30, this morning.

 

They add when officers arrived on the scene they discovered broken glass in the front doorway and a TV missing from the shelf behind the cash register.

 

Police say they quickly found and arrested two potential suspects on Second Street and recovered the stolen TV with the help of the K-9 unit.

 

A 25-year-old from New Waterford and 27-year-old from Glace Bay face charges of  Break and Enter, and Theft.
