Tweedie Guilty On All Three Counts In Talia Forrest Death

32 year-old Colin Hugh Tweedie has been found guilty on all three counts against him in the hit-and-run death of 10 year old Talia Forrest.

Justice Kevin Coady found Tweedie guilty of dangerous driving causing death, impaired driving causing death and leaving the scene of an accident in delivering his verdict this morning.

Tweedie was acquitted on those charges two years ago, but the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal overturned the decision and ordered a new trial.

Forrest died after being hit by a vehicle while riding her bicycle along Black Rock Road in Black Rock in July of 2019.
