Trudeau Sends Condolences After Ariana Grande Concert Attack

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians are shocked by the news of what he describes as last night’s horrific attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

British police say an apparent suicide bomber set off an improvised explosive device that killed 22 people at the end of the performance by the U-S pop star.

Trudeau adds federal officials are still in the process of determining if any Canadians were among the victims.

He goes on to say he was devastated when he heard about the innocent victims who were killed or injured.

He also sends deepest condolences on behalf of all Canadians to the families and friends of those who were killed.

Trudeau says Canada will work with its allies and partners to continue to fight terrorism in its many forms.
