Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Cape Breton today for the official reopening of the Sydney Veterans Affairs office.
The office was one of nine across the country closed by the former Conservative government.
It’s been moved from its former George Street location to the former courthouse building on Crescent Street.
Veteran’s Affairs Minister Kent Hehr will also be on hand for the event that’s due to start at 11:30 this morning.
Shortly after 12:30 this afternoon, Trudeau will meet with local veterans at the Branch 128 Legion in Whitney Pier.
