by RCMP say a truck with a stolen excavator from the parking lot of a Port Hastings business was recorded on video heading toward Sydney.
Police are looking for tips from the public after the theft on Wednesday.
They say video from a neighbouring business shows two people in a pickup truck taking the excavator and trailer it was on.
A jack hammer was also stolen.
Video from other businesses in the area show the truck travelling on the 105 Trans Canada Highway toward Sydney.
The orange Kubota Excavator has a value of 45-thousand dollars.
It was on a yellow trailer with Nova Scotia Licence plate T337911.
