Trial Dates For Man Charged With Killing New Waterford Man

Trial dates are due to be set today in the case of a Halifax man charged in the stabbing death of New Waterford native James Wareham.
25 year-old Jordan Tevin Dinelle Rodrigues faces a count of second-degree murder in the case.
37 year-old Wareham died in hospital after being stabbed in a north-end Dartmouth apartment in 2011.
Police originally had no suspects in the case until Rodrigues was arrested in August of last year.
Wareham’s family says he was stabbed in the stomach after stepping in to help a friend during a disagreement with another man.
Rodrigues has been out on bail since last October.
