The bail hearing is due to continue today for one of two members of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department charged in connection to a string of arsons in the community.
The hearing for 49 year-old Stephen Tremblett from North Sydney resumed, yesterday.
But lawyers in the case say they need more time to finalize his bail before he can be released.
Tremblett faces 12 charges of Arson.
His co-accused, 24 year-old James Clayton MacDonald, from Bras d’Or, faces 16 counts.
Last week, MacDonald was released into his parents’ custody on 11,000 dollars’ bail posted by him and his parents.
He’s due back in court on September 20th.
The charges against both men are in connection to 16 fires that took place over the last several months.
