by The Regional Municipality says Transit bus routes 5 and 12 are having to detour because of construction on the Esplanade in Sydney.
It says both routes will detour to King’s Road after leaving the transfer hub on Pitt Street by using Charlotte Street, Byng Avenue and Argyle Street.
The routes will use King’s Road, turn onto Townsend Street and return to the transfer hub on their trips back to downtown Sydney.
The municipality says the detour is expected to be in place for the next three days.
