Transit Cape Breton Route Changes Take Effect, Today

A host of route changes for Transit Cape Breton buses go into effect, today.

The Regional Municipality says the changes are designed to improve the service.

The affected routes include Route 3, Glace Bay/New Aberdeen, Route 4, Glace Bay/Steele’s Hill, Route 5, Sydney/North Sydney and Sydney Mines and Route 9, Sydney/New Waterford.

Routes 10 and 13 in Sydney have been combined along with Routes 11 and 12 in Sydney and Sydney River.

And there’ve been slight changes to several start times for Cape Breton University’s’ Sunday service.

More information on the changes can be found on the Regional Municipality’s website.
