Today’s Trick-or-Treating Hours In The Regional Municipality

Trick-or-treating hours in the Regional Municipality will run from 5:30 this evening until 7:30 tonight this Halloween.

Regional Police are reminding drivers to be on alert as trick-or-treaters make their rounds.

They say they’ll have extra resources in place tonight and be helped with foot patrols by cadets from the Coast Guard College in Westmount.

Police say people should pay attention to their own properties and neighbourhoods and call them if anything suspicious happens.

They also want to remind people it’s illegal for anyone under 18 to buy or carry fireworks and that throwing or setting off fireworks in the street is also against the law.
