Today Marks Second Anniversary Of Mass Shooting In Province

Today marks the second anniversary of the start of the mass shooting in the province.

On April 18, 2020, a gunman started a 13-hour rampage that would leave a total of 22 people dead.

He was killed by two RCMP officers on April 19^th while he sat in a car at a gas station in Enfield.

Premier Tim Houston says the province will bring in legislation this fall to establish April 18^th and 19^th as provincial days of remembrance.

People in the province are being asked to take a moment of silence at noon today and tomorrow.
