Three new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia

Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified three new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Authorities say the three new cases are in the Central Zone, and are related to travel outside of Canada.  They say none of the new cases are related to the outbreak in New Brunswick.

One more person has recovered, bringing the total number of known active cases of the respiratory infection in the province to five.  One person remains in intensive care.

1,092 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.

1,022 Nova Scotians have recovered from COVID-19.
