Sydney Fire Deemed Suspicious

Regional Police say a Sydney fire that displaced three people last night, has been deemed suspicious.

The blaze damaged a two-storey house containing five apartments at 34 Harrison Avenue.

Police say the fire started in one of the vacant units.

They add police and the Fire Marshall’s office are investigating.

Meanwhile, the Red Cross says there were no injuries in the fire that was reported at around 10:00.

The Red Cross is providing the three people who were in the building with emergency lodging and food.
