Three Charged After Skye Glen Shooting Elect To Be Tried By Judge Alone

Three people arrested after a shooting in Skye Glen elected to be tried by judge alone after an appearance in Port Hawkesbury court, today.

RCMP say a 34-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the leg in June.

33 year-old James Edwin Tyler Goswell from Stewartdale faces a count of aggravated assault, seven weapons-related charges and a drug count in the case.

27 year-old Justin Francis Goswell from Judique has been charged with three firearms counts and a drug offence.

The brothers have been in custody since their arrests and have been denied bail.

21 year-old Makayla Sutherland from Harbourview has been charged with a count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in the case.

She’s been released from custody.

The three are due back in court on December 1st for a preliminary hearing.
