Three CB Men Charged in National Child Porn Bust

Three Cape Breton men have been charged in a major cross-country child pornography bust.

Operation Snapshot III involved police forces across the country, including the Cape Breton Regional Police.

Police held a news conference in Dartmouth this morning to provide more information on the operation.

RCMP Sergeant Mark Petrilli says 5 children were rescued during the investigation and 100 people face a total of 343 charges.

He adds more than a million images and videos were seized.

The Cape Breton men charged in the operation all face charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Making Available Child Pornography.

They include 23-year-old Jeffrey MacFadgen from Sydney River, 27-year old Mark Edward Graham from Port Morien and an unnamed 36-year-old man from Victoria Road in Whitney Pier.
