Three Arrested In Drug Raid

Three people are due in Sydney court today after a drug raid on four properties on Friday.

Regional Police say they seized about 25 pounds of cannabis and THC-related products worth over 200,000 dollars in the raids, that took place at two homes on Grand Lake Road, as well as businesses on Grand Lake Road and Kings Road.

38 year-old Donald James Campbell, from Sydney, is charged with 2 firearm offences and five breaches, while a 24 year-old woman and 39 year-old man, both from Sydney, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police say the two businesses involved appear to have been illegal cannabis dispensaries.

Eight others were arrested in the raids, but have since been released.

Police say their investigation continues, and more arrests and charges are expected.
