Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia over the holiday weekend.
Nine new cases were found on Christmas Day and Boxing Day; six in the Central Zone, two in the Northern and one in the Eastern Zone.
All nine are linked to close contacts with previous cases or travel outside of Atlantic Canada.
Three new cases were identified in the Central Zone yesterday, and one new case, also in the Central Zone, was discovered today.
There are currently 33 known, active cases of the coronavirus infection in Nova Scotia.
