Third Person Charged In Leroy Homicide Case

RCMP say a third person has been charged in relation to the killing of Natacha Leroy, whose remains were found in Big Bras d’Or in November.

They say 29-year-old Cody Alexander Russell was arrested in New Brunswick yesterday on charges of Accessory to Murder and Indignity to Human Remains.

Russell is due in Port Hawkesbury Court tomorrow.

25-year-old Carolyn Ann Dermody from North Sydney is charged with Murder and Indignity to Human Remains in the case, while 28-year-old Kevin Forrest, Jr. from Big Bras d’Or is charged with Accessory to Murder and Indignity to Human Remains.

An investigation is ongoing.
