The Province Is Announcing One Death, 163 New Cases of COVID-19 Today

The province is reporting 163 new cases of COVID-19 and another death today.

A man in his 70s has died in the Central Zone.

134 of the new cases are in the Central Zone, 8 are in the Eastern Zone which includes Cape Breton, 13 are in the Northern Zone, and 8 are in the Western Zone.

There are now 88 confirmed active cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network, and 19 in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

There is about one thousand 540 active cases in the province.

There are 49 people in hospital with seven in intensive care.
